Pennsylvania Gaming Regulator Renews Valley Forge Casino Resort License

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board users decided on Wednesday to renew Valley Forge Casino Resort’s gaming license. The venue is situated in Upper Merion, Montgomery County.

The seven board members voted unanimously in favor of the renewal, pointing down that Valley Forge Convention Center Partners LP, the gambling operator in charge of the casino, had fulfilled the terms of its initial license. For this reason the casino business had been awarded another license that is three-year.

Valley Forge first received authorization to work the Montgomery County gambling place last year. The casino started doors in March 2012.

The state gambling regulator held two public hearings in order to make its final decision. The one that is first place in Upper Merion some time ago. The latter happened yesterday in Harrisburg and board people questioned casino staff, neighborhood officials, users of district, also Pennsylvania police and gambling officials during it.
